2010 NL Central Preview: Pujols, Pujols, Pujols

Who do you think is the favorite in the NL Central? Pujols and the Cardinals. Pujols is a hitting machine and with support like Matt Holliday, that isn't likely to change. The Cards also have Adam Wainwright and Chris Carpenter who are two of the best pitchers in the NL (Timmy still #1).

As to who is most likely to be a thorn in the Cards side, Cubs may be the best bet but they haven't really done much to compete with the Cards. The rest of the division doesn't have much of a chance though look to the Pirates for noticeable improvement. It seems like they are on the rise. Also Aroldis Chapman is one to watch to see if he will play for the Reds this year or if he will stay in the Minors.

P.S. I also wouldn't bet the NL Wild Card winner would be in the NL Central. A good amount of talent is spread out to damage the entire division.
