One Team, Too Many QBs

The Eagles have a dilemma on their hands: they have three QB that could be their starter. The QB who is the starter is Donovan McNabb who has had a good career as the Eagles QB and has a few years left in him. The next is Kevin Kolb who has the potential to be the next good starter. Last is Michael Vick who was a good PLAYER for the Falcons that was able to win games. The problem is that all of their contracts are up at the end of this coming season. It would only make sense for the Eagles to trade at least one of them for something.

So who do you trade if you are the Eagles management. Donovan McNabb and, if the price is right, Michael Vick as well. The Eagles right now are in no position to win the Superbowl. They can get to the playoffs and that's it. It's not because McNabb isn't good enough. It's that he has no support from a stable wide receiver or a reliable defense. You need one or the other to support that QB. The Eagles need to take a chance on Kolb (who will probably cost a little less) and build around him. As for Vick, you would have to change the entire offense to use him properly. Seems like too much of a drastic change.

P.S. That's right Philly. You're not a Superbowl contender. Especially now that Brian Westbrook is gone. Now who is McNabb going to dump off his passes to?
