All of Group F at a Draw and Brazil Takes Control of Group G

New Zealand played against Slovakia yesterday with both teams trying to take advantage of the draw between Paraguay and Italy. Neither would gain the edge in the group, however, as they fought to a 1-1 tie. Slovakia almost took the 3 points but New Zealand's Winston Reid scored the game tying goal in the 3rd minute of stoppage time of the 2nd half. The whole group ends up tied with 1 point for all.

All of Group G would play yesterday with the first being Portugal vs. the Ivory Coast. Despite the two great strikers of Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal and Didier Drogba of the Ivory Coast, there were no goals in this game and would end in a draw. Both teams would take a point waiting to see if mighty Brazil could be beat. Brazil would have none of that in their Group G game with North Korea. They managed to score two goals against North Korea and held on to win it 2-1. They take control of the group with a 2 point lead.
