Strasburg Dominates his Debut

The baseball world has been hyping Stephen Strasburg so much ever since he got picked number one overall in last year's draft by the Washington Nationals. Well, he lived up to the hype. After a couple months of pitching well in the minors, Stephen Strasburg made his MLB debut dismantling the Pirates on the way to a 5-2 win for the Nationals. He pitched 94 pitches in 7 innings, allowed 2 earned runs off a home run, and struckout 14 on the way to his first W. He destroyed hitters with that overpowering 100 MPH Fastball and his hard Curveball. Those 40,000 plus fans (YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT) saw one of the best MLB debuts in history. Strasburg will be on a leash this season so that he doesn't get overworked but this is a great sign of things to come for the Nationals.
