The MLB Draft came around and once again the Nationals had the first pick. Last year they picked Stephen Strasburg, who's debut is highly anticipated for tomorrow. This year they took Bryce Harper of the College of Southern Nevada which is a Junior College. This marks the highest pick for a Junior College Player ever in the MLB Draft. Bryce Harper, though, is not of college age as he is only 17 years old. He was taken as a outfielder though he can play as a catcher. Perhaps Harper can be a great hitter one day but it will take a couple years before he will play in the majors.
