At the age of 99 years young, John Wooden, the so called Wizard of Westwood, died on June 4, 2010. He was a legendary College Basketball coach who coached the UCLA Bruins from 1948-1975. His overall record was 664-162 (.804) and would lead the Bruins to a unbelievable 10 National Titles over the 12 year period from 1964-1975. No other college program has matched Wooden's Championships and no coach has ever matched his brilliance. He is the best college basketball coach of all time and maybe the best coach of any sport. May the Wizard rest in peace while his legacy lives on.
