Is This the End of Dwight in Orlando?

As the trade deadline nears for the NBA, analysts are asking if the biggest asset possibly available will be traded from Orlando. This dance between management and Dwight Howard has been going for a while. The team will listen for offers then doesn't, Dwight wants to go then wants to stay; it's been getting old. The latest news is that the Magic are trying to hold on to Dwight Howard and are trying to do so by trading for another star player to play ball with him. The target on everyone's mind was Monta Ellis of the Golden State Warriors. That target has already been claimed. The Warriors traded away Monta Ellis to the Milwaukee Bucks for Andrew Bogut and Stephen Jackson.

Now I could talk about how this strengthens both sides but quite frankly I'm not good of an NBA analyst. I must say that this trade looks good for the Bucks as they can now make a playoff push. But the big picture part of me now says this is the end of Dwight Howard in Orlando. Now that's not for sure but from what the rumor mill is producing, if the Magic failed in acquiring a star player for Dwight, then they were going to shop him around. With the trade deadline looming, they better move quick. There are plenty of suitors, of course, ranging from the lowly Nets that want another big star to go alongside Darren Williams for when they move into Brooklyn next year, to the Chicago Bulls who could potentially get by the Heat come playoff time instead of losing when the team just looks to Derrick Rose to win games.

I'm not sure what would be best for Dwight Howard but I would look into that Bulls option if you wanted to win right now.

P.S. Or you could stay in Orlando like you just said while this team is hot and see what they can do while knowing deep inside that it won't win you a title.
