Tebow Going to the Jets

Tebowmania is over in Denver. Well, it was over the minute Peyton said he wanted to go there but it's now officially over. Even if Peyton Manning were to suck the entire time in Denver, he would have at least done John Elway the favor of getting rid of Tebow. Elway has always wanted to get rid of Tebow and hated it when he was winning despite whatever he was repeating from the cue cards his therapist gave him. As for who got Tebow, it was a back and forth kind of day but it ended up being the Jets. The Jets will get Tebow and a 7th round Draft pick and the Broncos will get a 4th and 6th round pick in return.

First of all, so rooting against the Broncos. Elway never believed in Tebow and deserves several losing seasons for hating a guy who got your team into the playoffs. Second, what are the Jets thinking? They have chaos in the locker room already, they have to sign Mark Sanchez to an extension to try and convince the team they back him 100% (which wouldn't have worked anyway), and now they trade for the most controversial player/QB in the entire NFL. Is their goal to simply implode by midseason? The personalities of Jets/Rex Ryan and Tim Tebow do not mix what so ever and when the Jets start to slump, you'll now have Jets' fans chanting for Tebow to take over behind center... or in shotgun.

The above is the worst case scenario and likely to happen. The best case? The humble Tim Tebow gets the team away from the Rex Ryan's "we are the greatest" BS and gets them working as a team again. This team, however, doesn't need a slice of humble pie, they need a whole bakery of it. Good luck in New Jersey, Tebow.
