Giants Move On to the NLCS

Game 4 of the Giants and the Braves series kicked off in Atlanta as the Giants looked to advance. Derek Lowe started for the Braves and held back the Giants until the 6th when Cody Ross tied the game with a home run. Brian McCann would then hit a homer himself to give the Braves the lead back at 2-1. However, Lowe got into trouble in the 6th loading the bases with a walk. He was pulled and after a controversial throw to 2nd (INSTANT REPLAY!!!) and then a single by Cody Ross, the Giants had the lead 3-2. Brian Wilson would come in the 9th and hold back the Braves for the win at 3-2. Giants take the series, 3 games to 1.

Giants now go on to face the a much tougher opponent: the Phillies. At least they will have a fresh Tim Lincecum ready to pitch.

P.S. But they will have Roy Halladay. DAMN IT!!!
