Phillies Even NLCS and Cliff Lee Paralyzes the Yankees

The NLCS continued last night and had the Phillies looking to even the series up at 1-1. They would acheive that goal with Roy Oswalt on the mound. He pitched 8 innings, allowed one run, and struckout 9. The Phillies would blow it open in the 7th with four runs and win it, 6-1. Earlier tonight, game 3 of the ALCS would be played in New York as Cliff Lee looked to contain the Yankees. He did just that with 8 shut out innings and 13 strikeouts. The Rangers would win this 8-0 thanks to Lee and a great 9th inning for the Rangers. Rangers now have a 2-1 series edge.

Both of the Championship Series' continue tomorrow as the Giants look for a win at home while the Yankees look to even their series. Don't screw up now, Cain.
