As for the rest of the Thanksgiving day games, the Packers played the Lions and finally the game itself meant something to that annual Detroit Thanksgiving game. A 10-0 Packers team faced a respectable Lions team and simply owned them. It wasn't until the 4th quarter that the Lions finally scored something when the Packers were winning, 24-0. The game would eventually lead to a Packers win, 27-15, but the story that spoiled the whole game was Ndamukong Suh stomping on the arm of Packers O-Lineman, Evan Dietrich-Smith, while he was on ground. This apparently came to during a scuffle between the two. Suh was ejected after doing this and Suh actually said he didn't kick anyone or mean to. No doubt there will be some punishment from the league.
The second game of the day was the Dolphins v. the Cowboys in Dallas. The Dolphins were doing pretty well going into the game winning three straight and gave a fright to the Cowboys. However, it was the Cowboys that ended up winning. Dan Bailey kicked the game winning FG as time expired for the Cowboys and won the game for them, 20-19. Very close game but just a bit short for a 4th straight win for the Fish.
As for the third game, already reflected on it. Hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving. Time to shop for a holiday that has lost it's true meaning. YEAH!!!
P.S. At least Thanksgiving has somewhat maintained it's true meaning. TOAST TO GLUTTONY WITH FAMILY!!!
