This whole week has been a bummer and now I glad to hear of at least one miracle. Wilson Ramos, catcher for the Washington Nationals who was abducted from his home in Venezuela on Wednesday, was found alive in a mountainous region in the area and rescued. He was flown out of the region to safety and his 3 captors were arrested. His mom thanked god on national TV and also stated "Thanks to my country, to my neighbors and to my family, who were supporting us."
That's the feel good story of the year. A terrible incident does not end in a worst case scenario. I must commend the local authorities for bringing home safely and I'm sure that Ramos and his family will never forget their efforts. As for the family, I'm sure that they will be overjoyed having their Wilson back home.
