I know this isn't really big news but it's interesting news.
Several investment groups have come together with the desire of buying the Los Angeles Dodgers. Orel Hershiser is in one group, a former Dodger owner and executive are in another, and, of course, there have been rumors that Mark Cuban would be involved with a group. Another big name has joined the conversation. As part of another investment group, Larry King has joined the party. The former talk show host, and frequent season ticket holder of the team, seemingly wants in on all the potential Dodger fun.
I didn't know that King Tut's brother was into bidding for modern sports franchises. Good for Larry King. The more intriguing personalities the better. Better hope they can buy the team quickly. Clock's ticking.
