To those who don't like soccer, suck it up.
The Semifinals were last night in MLS, featuring the best teams fighting for a spot in the MLS Cup Final. The first game featured Sporting Kansas City vs the Houston Dynamo. Houston went into that stadium wanting a win and got it. We had to wait until the second half for some goals but the Dynamo put them up. First Andrew Hainault scored in the 52' and then Carlos Costly sealed the win with a goal in the 87'. Dynamo win, 2-0, and take the Eastern Conference title.
As for the West, Real Salt Lake went into Los Angeles to face the Galaxy. With this possibly being David Beckham's last year in the league, Beckham showed why he would be missed. After a 1-1 1st half, Beckham crossed a nice ball to Mike Magee who headed it in for a go ahead goal. Robbie Keane would later score another for the Galaxy in the 68'. Galaxy beat Real Salt Lake, 3-1, and win the West.
It will be the LA Galaxy vs. the Houston Dynamo for the Cup. The Galaxy will actually play for the MLS Cup in their own home stadium: the Home Depot Center. Game is on November 20th.
