Tebowmania is Runnin' Wild, Close Finish in the Meadowlands, Another Injured QB for the Texans and More

HOW IS HE DOING THIS!!! A featured top story every week seems to be Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos. Somehow, the team is winning with Tebow leading them in prayer. This week, the Broncos were tested yet again going into San Diego to face the Chargers. The Broncos were down early, 10-0, when Tebow got a drive going to get it within 3 points. TD pass to Eric Decker with 55 seconds left in the half. Second half came and it was kept close. Broncos managed to tie it at 13 with under two minutes to go. Game goes into OT and Nick Novak missed a long 53 yarder for the Chargers. Tebow and the offense drove down field and with just 29 seconds left in OT, Matt Prater makes the game winner from 37 yards out. Broncos win another under Tebow, 16-13. Tebow now 5-1 as the starter of the Broncos. Somehow, a Tebow lead Broncos have defied the odds as they are now above .500 at 6-5.

Of course, this wasn't the only good game to mention. For another close finisher, we now face East. The Bills went into NJ and played the Jets as each team was 5-5 and looked to become the 2nd best team in the AFC East. It was a close game throughout as it came down to the final seconds. Mark Sanchez and the Jets drove down field 82 yards to culminate to a 16 yard TD pass to Santonio Holmes to give the Jets a 4 point lead with 1:01 left. Then Buffalo had a shot to tie it and got within striking range but miscues cost them greatly on the drive and they failed to score a TD from 24 yards away as time expired. Jets survive one in the Meadowlands, 28-24, and are now 6-5 on the season. Mark Sanchez threw 4 TD passes, a career high, in this game despite going 17/35 with 180 passing yards and an INT.

Other games in the NFL included the Pats tucking away the "Dream Team" Eagles, 38-20. Eagles are now 4-7 and continue to spiral into a nightmare. The Texans beat the Jaguars, 20-13, but lose another QB. A shoulder injury was sustained by Matt Leinart which probably has him out for the year. Looks like the Texans will have to rely on a third string QB. Raiders beat the Bears in Oakland, 25-20, as Caleb Hanie loses his first game as the Bears' starting QB. The Bears managed to keep the Raiders out of the Endzone until the final minutes with a Michael Bush TD run. Last one I will mention is the Bengals edging out Cleveland in the Battle of Ohio, 23-20. Mike Nugent scored the game winning FG with just 38 seconds left.

Giants face the Saints tonight to cap off Week 12.
