Okay, this isn't set in stone but right now it looks like it's going to be this way. This last weekend in College Football saw key upsets in the quest for the Illegitimate National Title Game (INT for this article). #2 Oklahoma State loses a close one in 2 OT to Iowa State, 37-31. Also, the Oregon Ducks lose to USC IN OREGON OF ALL PLACES, 38-35. Meanwhile, LSU destroyed Mississippi, 52-3, and #3 Alabama beat Georgia Southern, 45-21. It seems pretty obvious right now that it's going to be a rematch between LSU and Alabama for the INT.
Okay, now we need a playoff system just to stop the SEC from dominating INT games. Maybe the BCS should think about that while they talk about reorganizing everything. I'm starting the hate the SEC. We might as well just hand over the INT every year to their best team and be done with it. A playoff system, meanwhile, would encourage more talent to spread out to different places seeing that any place in the country could produce a champion. The current bowl shit system favors the SEC. Of course that could change over time but right now the south is still on the rise.
