Bulls Rebound While Lakers Remain Stunned

More NBA Playoffs were played last night as the Bulls and the Lakers looking to even their series' up at 1-1. The Bulls went first playing the Hawks again and they listened to the crowd this time by playing some defense. Bulls allowed 103 points in the first game while in game 2 they only allowed 73 points. A big difference right there. Better defense means worse offense for the Hawks. Atlanta shot nearly 34 % last night compared to shooting 51% in game 1. Bulls would win this game, 86-73. Derrick Rose was again a top player with 25 points, 10 assists, and 6 rebounds but also some glory to Joakim Noah scoring 19 and getting 14 rebounds.

What about the Lakers? No different result here. In fact, it may have seemed worse in game 2. No stopping Dirk Nowitzki as he scored 24 points and got 7 rebounds. Meanwhile, the Mavericks are 8-25 from 3 point land while the Lakers were only 2-20. Jose Juan Barea also contributed well from the bench with 12 points. Really just a nice overall team effort from the Mavericks as they take game 2, 93-81. So yes, it was worse for LA.

Bulls managed to even their series at 1-1 and now head to Atlanta for 2 games needing a win there. As for the Lakers, they are in a 0-2 series hole as those two teams head to Dallas. Safe to say that game 3 is a must win for the Lakers.
