Mavs Hold Off Thunder to Take 2-1 Series Lead

Not exactly the best game for Dirk Nowitzki but a win is a win. Dirk did have 18 points in the game but struggled early. His team overall didn't struggle early, however, grabbing an early lead that the Thunder were fighting to eliminate the entire game. They were getting close by the end but the Mavs managed to hold them off with some of Dirk's help. The Mavs do win, 93-87, and take a 2-1 series lead. Dirk only had 18 points in the game but his team mates collectively picked up the slack. Shawn Marion actually tied Dirk's output with 18 of his own.

A key game for the Mavs as they take back home court advantage. Game 4 will be a must win game for the Thunder otherwise they will be down by two games facing elimination.
